Participants will learn the pedagogical differences between game-based learning (GBL) and gamification with real, usable examples. We will work together to curate a list of GBL and gamification resources for teachers to take with them, and determine ways to both create new educational games and gamify current curriculum design for immediate use in classrooms. This session is hands-on and active, so bring a device and some energy to maximize your learning.
